- The Consultative Coaching Approach - Assess
The Assessment process will normally take place across a day, which we give as a free "taster" session, and may include:
- Building rapport with the client
- Explaining our consultative coaching process
- Understanding the client's business - how we got to where we are today, areas where the key challenges have been identified
- Understanding who's who - stakeholders and executives
- Developing a high level understanding of the client's goals and motivation for the project
- Defining of the initial objectives of the engagement
- Collect any additional information, including meeting key people
The assessment in the early stages will have the feel of an executive coaching session, and only when the challenges and objectives are clearly understood will the nature of the future engagement be agreed.
